Coote Pressure switches are designed to be used in situations where indication is required of the presence of a bulk material in bins, hoppers, augers and conveyors. They may also be used on a conveyor / auger as a safety switch detecting build up, switching OFF power supplys to a motor thus preventing overheating and possible failure. The switch consists of a micro-switch operated by a diaphragm and lever system.
the units are robust, constructed in cast aluminium housing. They are reliable in service and, due to the housing design; the diaphragm cannot be over stressed by the pressure of material.
The range of switches can be supplied with different diaphragm materials to suit various various applications.
